Job Description
Part-Time — Maximum of 29 hours per week (through June 30, 2022)
Non-Certified; FLSA non-exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications:
Minimum high school diploma or GED; laptop repair experience preferred; must have a valid TN drivers' license
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the repair and replacement of student laptop computers
- Provide assistance to the Technology Department in the replacement of printer toner cartridges and projector bulbs
- Perform clone imaging of desktop and laptop computers
- Install and configure desktop or laptop computers
- Additional duties as assigned
Additional Requirements:
A genuine interest in the broad-based field of Information Technology (IT) coupled with a willingness to learn new things
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environment Factors:
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and possess a valid TN driver license. A physical and background check are required if offered employment.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and implement tasks independently
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Projector maintenance and bulb replacement
- Basic skills needed to repair laptop and desktop computers
