The tutor positions are funded through the 2023-2024 school year.
210 days for a full year; pro-rated for 2021-2022 school year
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: ALL Corps Tutor
Reports To: School Administrator
Data and Accountability Supervisor
Location: K – 8 school placement TBD
Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)
- Work in high dosage/ low ratio tutoring sessions with small groups of children in grades 1-8.
- Assist with homework assignments, skill reinforcements, test preparation and other instructional tasks.
- Motivate and encourage students to achieve their instructional goals.
- Plan and work cooperatively with classroom teachers.
- Maintain records of student progress.
- Successfully complete required training sessions
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee teaching license
- Literacy and/or mathematics emphasis preferred, but not required.
- Successfully complete required training sessions
- Ability to interpret and follow school board policies as related to job functions.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform any physical duties associated with this position (e.g., sitting for long periods of time, walking, seeing, standing for extended periods of time, etc.).
